About

Hearth is a private home for the everyday things your family shares: the recipes you cook, the shopping lists you keep running, the week's meal plan, and quick household notes. Everything lives on your own phones, which sync directly with each other over your home Wi-Fi — no Hearth cloud, no account, no ads, and no subscription.

Features

  • A family recipe book — ingredients, steps, and photos, searchable by meal and season. Import a recipe from a web link and review it before saving.
  • Cook mode — one step at a time in large text, with timers and oven temperatures picked up from each step, and a screen that stays awake.
  • Shared shopping lists — quick add with amounts, sort by store section, and send a recipe's ingredients to the list in one tap.
  • A meal planner with a clear week view — or let Hearth fill 3, 5, 7, or 14 days from the recipes your family already loves.
  • Household notes with headings, bullet points, and checklists that format as you type.
  • Private sync — pair a family member's phone once with a QR code, and changes merge automatically, even ones made offline.
